Tiger

The Tiger’s population collapsed completely in the 20th century. In 1920, it was still assumed that there were about 100,000 tigers worldwide. In the 1970s, however, estimates put the number of wild animals at only 4,000.

The Java tiger and the Caspian tiger disappeared completely around this time. The Bali tiger had already become extinct in the 1930s.
Thanks mainly to various conservation projects, such as the WWF’s Project Tiger, the populations in Eastern Siberia and India apparently recovered slightly or remained largely stable during the following years. In other areas, however, the populations continued to decline.

By buying a Tiger garment, you have done your part to increase the chances that the Tigers will have a chance to survive.

Depending on the product a specific amount (T-Shirt 15€, Sweatshirt 20€, Hoodie 25€, Cap 15€) will be donated to the WWF.

North Atlantic Right Whale

The North Atlantic right whale is a baleen whale. Because of their docile nature, their slow surface-skimming feeding behaviors, their tendencies to stay close to the coast, and their high blubber content, they were once a preferred target for whalers. At present, they are among the most endangered whales in the world. The combined factors of small population size and low annual reproductive rate of right whales mean that a single death represents a significant increase in mortality rate.

Conversely, significant reduction in the mortality rate can be obtained by preventing just a few deaths. It was calculated that preventing the deaths of just two females per year would enable the population to stabilise.

By buying a North Atlantic Right Whale garment, you have done your part to increase the chances these Whales will have a chance to survive.

Depending on the product a specific amount (T-Shirt 15€, Sweatshirt 20€, Hoodie 25€, Cap 15€) will be donated to the International Fund for Animal Welfare.

Araripepipra

The Araripepipra is a species of critically endangered birds and was discovered in 1996. Because of its helmet-like crown it has received the name "little soldier of Araripe".

In 2000 there was an estimated population of less than 50 individuals and it was considered as one of the rarest birds in Brazil and in the world. A few years later at the BirdLife International celebrity lecture held in Peterborough on 16 August 2008, it was announced that Sir David Attenborough would be championing the Araripe manakin in an effort to raise funds to help protect this rare bird. Today we assume that approximately 800 individuals of our “little soldier of Araripe” are still alive.

By buying an Araripepipra garment, you have done your part to increase the chances that this bird will have a chance to survive.

Depending on the product a specific amount (T-Shirt 15€, Sweatshirt 20€, Hoodie 25€, Cap 15€) will be donated to the American Bird Conservacy.

Southern White Rhino

The White Rhino is the second largest land mammal after the elephant. It has two distinct subspecies which are found in two different regions in Africa - the southern white rhino and the northern white rhino. Sadly, the northern white rhino is extinct in the wild and only two females are left. They are protected 24/7 in a sanctuary in Kenya. After nearly being extinct in the late 19th century, the southern white rhino has experienced a remarkable come-back story. Being at the brink of extinction with only less than 100 individuals left, the southern white rhino’s population has recovered greatly, thanks to more than a century of protection and conservation. Absurdly, their survival is once again threatened mainly due to relentless poaching and illegal trade with their horns.

Estimates suggest that only approximately 16.000 individuals exist, which all occur in only four african countries: South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. Their official IUCN red list status is near threatened with a declining population.

By buying a White Rhino garment, you have done your part to increase the chances that the Southern White Rhinos will have a chance to survive.

Depending on the product a specific amount (T-Shirt 15€, Sweatshirt 20€, Hoodie 25€, Cap 15€) will be donated to the AMES Foundation.
